Construction is a high-risk industry for health issues. Every year more working days are lost due to work-related illness compared to injuries.

Building on HSE’s July webinar on respiratory health and the ‘Dust Kills’ campaign, this webinar covers moving and handling, risk assessment for health issues as well as the Working Minds campaign to raise awareness of work-related stress and mental health.

Hosted by Lawrence Webb, IOSH President-Elect, he is joined by the HSE’s Sarah Shore, Head of Construction Policy and Sector; and Hayley Healey, HM Inspector in Construction Division Sector to give further insight into HSE’s focus on health in construction as a priority under HSE’s new 10 year strategy ‘Protecting People and Places’.
