Construction workers die every week from lung diseases caused by past exposure to dust. Many more suffer from chronic lung conditions that ruin lives. We are supporting HSE’s Dust
Kills campaign. For more information, see https://workright.campaign.gov.uk/campaigns/construction-dust/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=construction-dust-2023&utm_content=assets-page

Occupational lung disease is preventable. We can achieve more by working together. That’s why we are supporting HSE’s ‘Dust Kills’ campaign to raise awareness of the risks to construction
workers’ respiratory health and how to stay safe. For more information see: https://workright.campaign.gov.uk/campaigns/construction-dust/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=construction-dust-2023&utm_content=assets-page
We are supporting ‘Dust Kills’ campaign to raise awareness of the risks of devastating lung diseases if exposure to dust in construction is not effectively controlled. Led by The Health and Safety
Executive (HSE), the campaign is focused on communicating guidance and advice to enable employers to identify respiratory health risks on their site, plan their work and implement effective controls to prevent exposure to dust. In addition, HSE inspectors are carrying out a targeted health inspection initiative focusing on the respiratory risks to construction workers from exposure to silica and wood dust.
